Biography
Brief
Denis Leclerc is a digital artist who uses abstract expression to create stunning pieces of art. His work is inspired by chance and fate, and he finds that vector images allow him to work without size restrictions.
His artwork often explores dichotomies such as balance and chaos and views the world through the lens of abstract shapes and colours. He believes that digital art is an exploration of something outside of reality, allowing him to express things that he can’t in his everyday life.
Leclerc has had his work featured in numerous international exhibitions, and it has been collected by art galleries, businesses, and private collectors. He also works with a variety of companies to create bespoke pieces for their visual branding or design needs. Leclerc is passionate about encouraging others to explore their creative potential and has been the recipient of several awards for his work.
Denis Leclerc has over thirty years of experience as a communications professional, including more than twenty years as a senior partner at Costa Leclerc Design Inc. Denis worked in Montreal and Toronto before founding his own firm in 1989, which became Costa Leclerc Design Inc. He has taught new media techniques at Glendon College, York University in Toronto and design history at George Brown College.
