Digital Fragments Series
Digital Fragments on Instagram
Digital Fragments is a series of abstract digital artworks created by Denis Leclerc on iPad and shared regularly on Instagram. Each work starts as a gesture. It may feel spontaneous or unresolved. Over time, the fragment builds into a growing visual language. Denis Leclerc also animates select pieces. As a result, they bring rhythm and atmosphere to the viewing experience. In fact, many works arrive fully formed. Others return later, changed and refined.
This ongoing rhythm reflects a steady practice grounded in curiosity and variation. Consequently, the work progresses slowly and deliberately. Still, each post stands alone as a complete piece of work. For example, some explore light and layering. Moreover, others suggest motion, memory, or surface. Therefore, the viewer is free to interpret each one in their way.
As a result, each fragment stands on its own. It is never a draft. They are finished artworks that Denis Leclerc shares in real time. Each piece is simple, clear, and made to connect. As a result, the Instagram feed becomes both an archive and a studio wall. As a result, it becomes a place for showcasing, refining, and refining again. In many cases, these pieces grow into printed editions or larger works.
