My work lives in uncertainty. Shapes shift and fade. They often remind you of something, without ever being fully clear. I use digital tools, but I treat each image like a painting. In other words, I bring traditional focus into a modern process. Because of this, each image holds both precision and spontaneity. Ultimately, I aim to create visuals that leave room for your imagination. Whether you’re a collector, curator, or simply curious, I hope these pieces invite you to linger—and return.

From the Studio Feed

Most fragments start on Instagram before becoming finished works. I often post gestures, textures, or shapes still in progress. Therefore, this feed allows you to follow the process in real time. Sometimes, a piece arrives whole. More often, however, it evolves across several posts. For updates and previews, follow me at @denisleclerc. In addition, I share studies and sketches that may never become prints—but still feel alive.

I start each image with a pause—a gesture made by instinct. Then I return to earlier pieces, adjusting them until the forms feel right. Even though I work on screen, I build each piece slowly. I don’t generate my work—I shape it, layer by layer. That’s why I describe my process as refinement. After all, the final result is not only visual. It’s emotional. In the end, this defines Denis Leclerc Digital Art: a balance of structure and freedom. Each image carries the trace of choices made over time.
